They are looking for a tenured Emergency Room Manager to rule the night!
- Size: 50+ beds with an average 165-210 patient encounters per day
- Monthly Volume: average 5000
- Average Patient Ratios: RN – Fast Track 5:1, Split Flow 6:1, Acute Care 4:1, Resuscitation 2:5
- Types of Patients: 20% Pediatric, 50% Adult, 30% Older Adult.
You would report to the Senior Administrator of Emergency Services in the hospital, who believes that employee engagement and encouragement is the key to greater nurse self-efficacy, greater expertise and satisfaction on the job. You would participate in committees, representing the unit and implementing performance initiatives to optimize patient safety.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
o Bachelor’s in nursing required
o Five years of nursing experience, two years in a progressive leadership role in the emergency room.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
o Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license, should obtain permanent license within 90 days. Compact license acceptable according to current Board of Nursing requirements
o American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
o American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC)-recognized certification within one year of eligibility; HMH - ANCC- recognized leadership certification within one year of eligibility
